We're Digital Web Mania, a social media marketing agency in Ahmedabad. We plan, design and post content for your Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, reels and Gujarati posts included, and we can reply to your comments and DMs too. Most retainers cost Rs 12,000 to 35,000 a month, and we judge the work by enquiries and profile actions, not likes.
Scroll through the Instagram pages of ten local businesses and you'll find the same Navratri post, the same Uttarayan kite graphic and the same "Happy Monday" quote, each with a different logo slapped on. That's what happens when one agency runs fifty accounts off one template. The calendar looks full. Nothing moves.
We take on fewer brands and make the content about each one: your products, your people, the questions your customers keep asking on WhatsApp. Posting is honestly the easy bit. The real work is deciding what a brand should say, in which language and to whom, and then checking whether any of it brought someone closer to buying. That's what I think a social media marketing agency in Ahmedabad should be paid for.
What does a social media management retainer cover?
Our social media management retainer is basically us thinking, making, posting and then telling you honestly how it went. Comments and DMs? Those are an add-on, because plenty of owners like answering their own. Here's how a month tends to go.
First there's a plan, and it's built around whatever you need right now (more walk-ins, more wholesale enquiries, a new branch in Bopal), and every quarter we sit down and check it still makes sense. Then you get a monthly calendar, and nothing goes live until you've approved it. We design and write the posts, carousels and stories. Reels get scripted and edited (phone footage from you is perfectly fine, and we shoot when it's needed). Posts go out when your audience is really online, not at some random hour. We keep an eye on trends and hashtags too, but only jump on the ones that suit you, because a dental clinic doing a dance trend is rarely a good idea. And at month end there's a report on reach, engagement, profile actions and enquiries.
Boosting posts or running ads? That's our performance team, with its own budget.
Which social media platforms should your business be on?
Wherever your buyers already spend their evenings, and no more than one or two to begin with. I've seen too many shops with five accounts, four of them last updated in 2022. A dead page doesn't look neutral; it looks like you closed.
| Business type | Main platform | Second platform | Usually skip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Restaurant, café, cloud kitchen | |||
| Fashion, jewellery, home décor (D2C) | YouTube Shorts | ||
| Clinic, salon, gym | |||
| Real estate developer or broker | Facebook and YouTube | None | |
| Manufacturer, exporter, B2B services | YouTube | Instagram, unless hiring | |
| CA, lawyer, consultant | None | ||
| Coaching class, school, institute | YouTube |
Treat that table as a starting point, not gospel. Before we commit, we check where your competitors get real engagement.
LinkedIn marketing for B2B companies
For B2B firms, exporters and professional services, LinkedIn is usually where you want to be, because the people who sign off on purchases are there.
It behaves very differently from Instagram, though. Company pages get modest reach, while the founder's or sales head's own profile gets far more. So for B2B clients we often ghost-write posts for the founder as well as running the company page. Topics come from your real work: a tricky problem you solved, how something gets made on your factory floor, your take on where your industry is going. I'll interview you for about 30 minutes a month and we write from that. So it ends up sounding like you, because it came from you.
How many posts per month do you need?
For most businesses, 12 to 16 posts a month is plenty, with 4 to 6 of them reels. A few good posts beat daily filler, every time.
Thirty posts a month looks impressive in a proposal, and in real life it means quote cards nobody saves. I'd rather make twelve posts someone actually stops scrolling for. After three months of data we adjust: more reels if they bring profile visits, more carousels if people save them, and fewer of whatever's being ignored.
Reels: what works and what we need from you
Reels get the most reach on Instagram right now, so most of our retainers include 4 to 6 a month.
Funny thing is, the ones that do well are rarely the polished ones. Your chef plating a dal baati, twenty seconds, done. Your receptionist answering the question everyone asks at the counter. A messy before and a clean after. People decide in about two seconds whether to keep watching, so we fuss over the opening and put captions on everything (half of Ahmedabad is watching reels in a meeting with the sound off). What do we need from you? Ten or fifteen minutes of phone video a month, roughly. We'll send a shot list so nobody's guessing. Want a proper product shoot or UGC-style ads? Our video team will come over.
Gujarati, Hindi or English: which language should you post in?
Whatever your customers speak at the dinner table. Around here that's very often Gujarati, or that Gujarati-English mix we all text in, and I've lost count of how often a Gujarati reel beats its English twin.
We don't use translation apps for this. Ever tried one for Gujarati? You get something that reads like a notice from the municipal corporation. So our writers do it by hand. A lot of brands land on a mix, with prices and specs in English but reels and Diwali wishes in Gujarati, and a Guglish line thrown in when a joke needs it. Exporting to Germany? Fine, English it is. But a Maninagar mithai shop posting only in English is leaving customers on the table, I'm fairly sure.
Community management: replying to comments and DMs
It's us answering your comments and DMs, sounding like you, during hours we agree on. And it matters more than people think, because for a lot of shops the Instagram inbox now rings about as often as the phone does.
So someone asks "do you deliver to Gota?" and we answer. Someone says something nice, we thank them. Spam gets hidden. A real sales lead or a complaint? That goes to your team on WhatsApp straight away, with a screenshot so nobody has to ask what happened. We don't make up prices or promises, ever; you give us an answer sheet and we stick to it. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM. Need weekend cover for a big sale? Ask, and we'll quote for it.
How do you measure social media marketing results?
Look at enquiries and profile actions before anything else. Reach and engagement come second, and followers, honestly, a distant last.
That's why the first page of our report is what Instagram and Facebook call profile activity. How many people tapped through to your site, hit call or WhatsApp, asked for directions, or sent a DM that was really about buying? Then we get to reach, saves and shares, split by post type, which is how you find out that carousels are quietly doing all the work while reels just look busy (or the other way round). Followers come last. Any social media marketing agency in Ahmedabad that leads with follower count is selling you the wrong number. I'd also suggest one simple habit at your counter or on calls, asking "How did you hear about us?" Very old-school, I know. It still catches stuff no dashboard does.
How much does social media marketing cost in Ahmedabad?
Most owners here end up paying Rs 12,000 to 35,000 a month for social media management, typically. Why such a spread? Because one Instagram account with a dozen posts is a very different job from two platforms, daily DMs and six reels.
To make it concrete: Instagram only, 12 posts, 4 reels, and you're near the low end. Add Facebook, go up to 16 posts and 6 reels, and have us reply to DMs every day, and you're near the top. Shoots, UGC videos and ad budgets are quoted separately. We put the scope in writing, so there are no surprise invoices when you ask for "just one more post".
Do you manage social media for brands in Australia, the UK, the USA or the UAE?
For some, yes, though I'll be upfront that social is the most local thing we do. The jokes, festivals and slang that make a Gujarati reel land don't travel to Sydney. So we're picky. Where it works best is B2B: LinkedIn for a founder or a consultancy in London or Dubai, where the posts come out of a monthly interview and the time difference barely matters. It also suits Indian brands selling to Indians abroad, and overseas businesses that want a steady design and scheduling team while someone local handles the community side.
There's no fixed dollar package for social. You get a custom quote after a call, and our pricing page shows the overseas SEO, ads and website plans it usually sits alongside. Posts go out in your audience's evening, not ours, and calls fit the Australian afternoon or the UK morning (US clients get an early or late slot).
How our social media process works
- Discovery call (week 1). We talk about your goals, your customers and competitors, and what you've posted before. What worked? What flopped? That's usually the most useful half hour of the whole project.
- Account audit and strategy (weeks 1 to 2). We fix your profiles, pick the platforms, and settle on content pillars, tone of voice, language mix and how often to post. You'll get it in a short written plan.
- First calendar (week 2). A full month of post ideas, captions and reel concepts comes to you for approval. Change whatever you like.
- Content production (weeks 2 to 3). We design, edit reels from your footage and write the copy. You get one round of revisions on the batch.
- Publishing and community management (ongoing). Posts go out on time, without you having to remember. If we're handling DMs, we reply in the agreed hours, and anything that smells like a sale lands on your team's WhatsApp.
- Monthly report and planning call. We go through what landed and what fell flat, then agree what to change in next month's calendar. Usually takes about twenty minutes over chai.
Frequently asked questions
How much does social media management cost in Ahmedabad?+
Honestly, it's the first thing everyone asks. With us it's usually Rs 12,000 to 35,000 a month. More reels, more platforms, or us minding your inbox all push it up. Shoots, UGC videos and ad budgets are extra. I'll put the scope in writing before we start, so the bill never surprises you.
Do you create content in Gujarati?+
Yes, every week. Our writers are local, so the Gujarati sounds like your neighbour talking and not like a translation app having a bad day. I've found Gujarati and Guglish posts often pull more from a local crowd than English does. Tell me about your customers and I'll suggest how to split it.
Do you reply to comments and DMs?+
Yep, if you've added community management. We answer the way your brand talks, inside the hours we've agreed, bin the spam, and push anything about a sale or a complaint to your people on WhatsApp. Prices and offers? Only the ones you've cleared with us first.
Can you increase my Instagram followers?+
We can grow the right followers, through useful content, reels, collaborations and some paid promotion. Buying followers, though? Never. Fake accounts don't buy anything, they drag your engagement rate down, and anyone who looks closely at your numbers will spot it. A smaller following of real local customers is worth far more.
Do you shoot photos and videos or do I provide them?+
Either works. Plenty of clients just send phone footage using our shot list, and we turn it into reels. If you want product photography, UGC-style videos or a monthly shoot at your place, our video team can come over. Shoots are quoted separately from the retainer.
Is social media marketing enough on its own?+
Depends who you are. A café in Vastrapur or a boutique in Navrangpura? Social can do most of the heavy lifting. A machine parts supplier, much less so. The way I explain it to clients: social keeps people remembering and trusting you, but ads and Google catch the person who wants to buy today. We'll be straight with you about which mix your budget can carry.
How long before social media shows results?+
Three months, roughly, before it's fair to judge. Month one is mostly spent fixing profiles and figuring out what your page should feel like. By the third month you'll see real patterns in reach, profile taps and enquiries. A bit of paid boosting speeds it along, sure, but trust on social still takes steady posting, and there's no shortcut I know of.
Who owns the content and the accounts?+
You do. Your accounts stay in your name, and every design, caption and video we make for you is yours once the month's paid. If we ever part ways, you keep the whole content library and we hand back all admin access.
Can you post at the right times for an overseas audience?+
Easily, since nothing gets posted by hand at midnight. We schedule everything for when your followers are actually online, whether that's Melbourne at lunch or Manchester at 8 PM. Replies to comments and DMs are the harder part, because our team works Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM IST. For overseas accounts we either agree slower reply times or leave the inbox with you.
