We make short creator-style videos for brands to run as Meta and YouTube ads or post as reels. We source the creators, write hooks and scripts, manage the shoot, edit several versions of each video and secure signed usage rights. Most videos cost Rs 3,000 to 15,000 each.
Viewers scroll past polished brand ads within a second. A creator in her own kitchen, talking about your product as she would to a friend, holds attention for a few seconds longer, and those seconds decide whether anyone hears your offer. As a UGC video agency in India, we handle the full process for D2C brands and apps, and our performance marketing team runs ads, so we see which videos drive sales.
What is UGC video and why does it work in ads?
UGC (user-generated content) is a short, usually phone-shot video of a real person using or reviewing your product, made for your page and ads. It looks like the rest of the feed, so people start watching before they register it as an ad.
Ten UGC videos usually cost less than one day of a crew shoot, and Meta rewards advertisers who test many creatives. A creator who resembles your buyer is more credible than a studio model, and a festive offer can go from script to live ad in about a week. UGC will not fix a weak product, and UGC ads tire faster than brand films, so they need a steady supply of new videos.
Our UGC production pipeline
- Brief and research. Your product, reviews, competitors' ads in the Meta Ad Library and the questions customers ask on WhatsApp.
- Creator sourcing. A shortlist matched to your buyer's age, city and language, approved by you before booking.
- Scripts and hooks. A script and 3 to 5 opening lines per video, since the first three seconds decide most of the result.
- Product dispatch and briefing. Shipping, a shot list and restrictions such as no competitor logos and no medical claims.
- Shoot. Creators film on their own phones; we can supervise in person for Ahmedabad brands.
- Edit. Captions, product close-ups, on-screen text and music licensed for ads.
- Variants. Hook variants in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 for testing.
- Delivery and review. Clearly named files in a shared folder, with results shaping the next scripts.
Gujarati and Hindi UGC creators
We work with native Gujarati, Hindi and English speakers, and with Hinglish where that suits your audience. A brand selling khakhra or chaniya cholis within Gujarat usually does better with a creator who sounds like its customers, while brands selling across India often get more reach per rupee from Hindi or Hinglish. We recommend testing two languages in the first batch. Every video has captions burned in, with English subtitles under Gujarati audio for mixed audiences.
Who owns UGC videos? Usage rights explained
You do. Before shooting, each creator signs our usage agreement setting out where the video can be used, for how long and whether their name may appear. Without it, a creator can ask you to remove a video or pay more once it performs.
Our standard agreement covers paid usage on Meta and YouTube, usually for 6 or 12 months with an option to extend; perpetual rights are quoted on request. Creators also follow the ASCI advertising code, with no false weight-loss or medical claims and clear disclosure when they post on their own profile.
UGC vs influencer marketing: which one do you need?
| UGC video | Influencer marketing | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it is posted | Your page and your ad account | The creator's own profile |
| What you pay for | The content and usage rights | Access to the creator's followers |
| Follower count needed | Not relevant | Very relevant |
| Typical cost per video | Rs 3,000 to 15,000 | From a few thousand to several lakh per post |
| Best for | Paid ads, testing offers, product pages | Awareness, launches, social proof |
| Control over message | High; we write the script | Lower; creators keep their own voice |
| Measurable sales | Yes, through ad tracking | Harder; mostly coupon codes and reach |
Many brands use both, with influencer posts for launch awareness and UGC running as ads afterwards.
Who UGC suits, and who should skip it
UGC suits products people can see, hold or try, such as packaged food, skincare, fashion, jewellery and consumer apps, and local services where trust is the barrier, such as a dental clinic in Bodakdev.
It is a poor fit for long-cycle B2B sales, where a demo film or founder-led LinkedIn video works better, and for heavily regulated products or luxury labels. If your ad account is not set up or your website does not convert, fix that first.
Can brands outside India use our UGC service?
Yes, if the buyers are in India. Brands from the UK, the USA, Australia and the UAE selling here often find a Hinglish-speaking creator sells better than a subtitled overseas ad. We handle creators, scripts, shipping within India and rights, and you approve everything online. We do not supply creators for audiences outside India. Overseas brands receive a custom quote; other overseas plans are on the pricing page.
How much does a UGC video cost in India?
A UGC video with us typically costs Rs 3,000 to 15,000, depending on the creator, script complexity and the number of edits and variants. Monthly batches lower the cost per video, while location shoots, extra variants, 12 months of usage instead of 6 and awkward shipping add to it. A crew, studio day and model can exceed Rs 1 lakh for one or two films.
How many UGC videos should you start with?
Start with four to six videos, each with 2 or 3 hook variants. That gives 10 to 15 ads, enough for Meta to find a winner. Most of our brands then settle at 6 to 12 new videos a month, because winning ads lose effectiveness over time.
Frequently asked questions
Do UGC creators post the video on their own profile?+
Usually not. The video is made for your channels and ads, and the creator is paid for content and rights. Posting to their followers becomes an influencer post with a separate fee and an ASCI disclosure.
Can I choose the creators?+
Yes. You receive a shortlist with samples, language, city and rate, and you make the final choice before the shoot.
How long does a UGC batch take?+
The first batch takes about 10 to 15 working days, including 2 to 4 days of courier time. Later batches usually take 7 to 10 days. Book festive campaigns a month ahead.
Do I need to send products to every creator?+
For physical products, yes. You can deliver to our Ahmedabad office or ship to each creator, and we track receipt. Apps and services need only access, such as a test login.
Can UGC videos run as Meta and YouTube ads?+
Yes, that is their main purpose. We export vertical, 4:5 and square versions, and paid usage is covered in each creator's agreement.
Do you also run the ads?+
For many UGC clients, yes. Running Meta and Google Ads shows us which hooks and creators bring purchases, and we write the next batch around them.
What if a UGC video doesn't perform?+
Every batch has stronger and weaker videos, which is why you receive several. If the fault is ours, such as poor sound, we fix it or reshoot; otherwise the learning goes into the next scripts.
Can I get the raw footage?+
Yes, on request, at no charge on normal batches. A few creators charge extra when raw files come with perpetual rights, and the quote will say so.
Do you make UGC for services and apps as well as products?+
Yes. For apps, creators film themselves alongside a screen recording of the feature. For a salon or coaching class, they film a real visit with everyone's permission.
Do you work with brands based outside India?+
Yes, when the videos are for Indian audiences. You approve shortlists and scripts online, collect files from a shared folder and are quoted in US dollars.
