We're Digital Web Mania, an SEO company in Ahmedabad with our office in Satellite. We look after technical SEO, on-page work, content, local SEO on your Google Business Profile, links, and getting your pages ready for AI search tools. Retainers for Indian businesses start from Rs 12,000 a month. Our reports open with calls and enquiries, and our own developers fix the website.

Most SEO proposals promise you a list of keywords on page one. Fine. But rankings don't pay salaries; enquiries do. So when a shop owner in Prahlad Nagar asks me what an SEO company in Ahmedabad should deliver, my answer is boring: more of the people already searching for what you sell should find you, believe what they read, and pick up the phone.
We've been at this since 2017, and our SEO people sit a few desks away from our developers. Small thing? Not really. If I find your images are too heavy on Monday, someone here has usually squashed them by Thursday, and nobody is chasing your old web vendor over email for two months.
What does an SEO company in Ahmedabad actually do?
Put simply, we find the searches your buyers make, turn your website into the most useful answer for them, and prove it with leads. Our SEO services in Ahmedabad fall into six areas, and most clients need all six (just in very different amounts).
Technical SEO
I always start here, for a dull reason: if Google can't get into a page, the rest of this list is wasted money. We go looking for crawl errors and pages Google has quietly dropped. Duplicates too, and redirect chains, and that mobile menu that falls apart on a Rs 9,000 Android. And speed, tested on an ordinary Jio 4G phone, because your office Wi-Fi lies to you. Since we build WordPress, Shopify and custom sites ourselves, we don't write you a report about it. We just fix it.
On-page SEO
One money keyword gets one page. I'm stubborn about that. Then the title, headings, links and the rest are written for that keyword, and for whoever's typing it. Obvious? Sure. But I still open sites every month where the homepage, a service page and some blog post from 2019 are all going after the same search. Google can't pick, so it picks none.
Content
Service pages that answer what a buyer wants to know before they ring you, a couple of comparison pages, and blog posts on questions people really type (not another "10 tips" piece). We write it, or your team drafts and we tidy up.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile, reviews, citations and area pages. It's where most local businesses get their first new calls, so more on it below.
Link building
We go after links from directories people really use, associations, suppliers and the local press. Link packages? Never.
AI search readiness
People ask ChatGPT who to hire now; it's become normal. And Google answers a good chunk of questions itself before anybody clicks. So we set your pages up in a way those tools can read, and quote without mangling.
How does local SEO work in Ahmedabad?
It's mostly about getting you into that map with three pins that pops up for "near me" searches. Run a clinic in Vastrapur or a furniture showroom in Thaltej? Then honestly, that little map probably sends you more calls than everything underneath it.
Google Business Profile optimisation is step one, every time. Nine times out of ten the primary category is wrong, so we fix that first. After that it's the boring stuff that works: a proper description, your services listed, real photos of your shop and your people (not stock), and the same name, address and number on every listing from IndiaMART to Justdial. Then reviews. We'll set your staff up with a WhatsApp message and a direct review link to send after a sale, and that's it, no fancy software.
Serve several parts of the city? We'll write area pages that say something real about each one: delivery times, parking, the landmark next to your branch.
What is AI search optimisation (AEO and GEO)?
Say somebody asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overview for a good interior designer near Bodakdev. AI search optimisation is us making sure the answer they get knows you exist, and doesn't get your phone number wrong. You'll hear it called AEO (answer engine optimisation) or GEO (generative engine optimisation). I treat them as the same job, whatever the slide deck says.
Is there a trick to it? Not really, and I've looked. We put a straight answer high on the page, write prices out as text (not buried in a PDF), word the FAQs like a customer would on the phone, add schema, and keep your address the same everywhere.
We do it inside every SEO retainer. I won't promise you'll show up in ChatGPT for a specific question, though. Nobody can. Anyone selling that is guessing with your money.
Gujarati and Guglish keywords most agencies skip
Plenty of local searches in Gujarat aren't typed in clean English at all. People search "sofa ni dukan satellite", or "dentist near me hindi bolne wala", or a mix of English and Gujarati in Roman script.
English-only agencies never go looking for these, so there's far less competition. Where do we find them? Your Search Console, mostly, and the way people actually type to you on WhatsApp.
How long does SEO take to show results?
Local stuff? Give it 2 to 3 months before you notice anything move. Steady leads? Somewhere around month 4 to 6, give or take. National keywords with real competition? Six to twelve months, sometimes more. I'd rather you hear that from me now than in month three.
A lot rides on things outside our control: how old and healthy your site is, how many years of head start your competitors have, and (I say this kindly) how long approvals sit in your inbox.
Promised page one in 30 days? Ask which keywords.
How much does SEO cost in Ahmedabad?
From Rs 12,000 a month if you're a local business, and most of our local clients sit somewhere between that and Rs 40,000. Online stores and national B2B campaigns cost more, and not because we feel like charging more; they just need a lot more pages, content and links.
A one-branch dental clinic sits near the bottom; a manufacturer with 40 product pages to rewrite sits near the top. We quote after a free audit, with the monthly deliverables in writing.
Yes, you can find SEO for Rs 3,000 a month. It's usually automated reports and bought links, and the cleanup afterwards costs more than the retainer ever did. We've been called in to clean that up more than once.
How we report: leads first, rankings second
Page one of our report is enquiries. How many calls, WhatsApp clicks and form fills came from Google this month, and was that more or less than last month? Rankings and traffic come after that, as backup.
So month one includes setting up call tracking, WhatsApp click tracking, GA4 conversions and Search Console access, all inside your own accounts. Flat month? The report will say so, and say why.
Our white-hat stance
No private blog networks, paid links, mass-produced AI articles or fake reviews. We're not being saints; every Google spam update catches another batch of these shortcuts, and climbing out of a penalty takes months, if you're lucky.
SEO agency vs in-house hire vs freelancer
| SEO agency (like DWM) | In-house SEO hire | Freelancer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical monthly cost | From Rs 12,000 retainer | Rs 25,000 to 50,000 salary, plus tools | Rs 5,000 to 20,000 |
| Paid SEO tools | Included | You pay separately | Sometimes |
| Skills covered | Technical, content, local, links, AI search | Usually one or two strong areas | Depends on the person |
| Website code fixes | Done by our own developers | Needs a developer | Rarely |
| Cover for leave or exits | Team continues | Work stops | Work stops |
| Best for | Businesses that want results without building a team | Large sites publishing every week | One-off jobs like a profile cleanup |
If you're putting out 20 pages a month, get your own person in-house. Most small firms are nowhere near that, and for them an agency makes more sense (yes, I'm biased).
Do you handle SEO for businesses in Australia, the UK, the USA or the UAE?
We do, and it's a growing part of our week. Some of it is straight outsourcing: a clinic in Melbourne, a trades business in Leeds or a property broker in Dubai that wants an India-based team doing the same work we'd do for a shop on CG Road, only aimed at Google in their own country. For those clients our SEO Starter plan is $800 a month and SEO Growth is $1,600 a month. The details are on our pricing page.
Selling into more than one country gets fiddly. I call it plumbing, because nobody sees it until it leaks: a folder or domain for each market, hreflang so your UK page stops fighting your Australian one, colour for Sydney but color for Dallas, prices in the local currency, and a Business Profile wherever you have a real address. Most multi-country sites we inherit have one English page trying to rank everywhere. It ranks nowhere.
Agencies abroad use us too, white-label. Your logo goes on the reports, you own the client, and we'll never email your client behind your back.
Timing works better than people expect. Our 10 AM to 7 PM IST day covers the Australian afternoon and the UK morning, and for US clients we book an early or late call.
How our SEO process works
- Free audit (week 1). Your site, your Business Profile, three competitors and whatever Search Console data exists all get a proper look. Out comes a written list of problems, worst first. Keep it even if you never hire us.
- Keyword and page map (weeks 1 to 2). This is where we hunt for the buyer searches, the question searches and the Gujarati or Guglish versions, and give each of them a home page. Then we sit down together and shortlist the 10 to 30 terms that actually make you money.
- Tracking setup (week 2). Call and WhatsApp tracking go in, GA4 conversions get set up, and we get access to Search Console and your Business Profile. Your name on everything, never ours.
- Fixing the site (months 1 to 2). Speed first, then indexing, schema and redirects, done by our own developers, so you're not stuck in somebody else's queue.
- Writing (from month 2). We write the new pages and rework the tired ones, adding FAQs and links as we go, and you sign off before anything goes up.
- Local SEO and links (ongoing). The least exciting part, and the part that compounds.
- Monthly report and call. Leads first, every time, then what we're changing next month and why.
Frequently asked questions
How much do SEO services cost in Ahmedabad per month?+
From Rs 12,000 a month with us, and most local businesses I talk to end up well under Rs 40,000. It's the first thing anyone asks me. Hard keywords, a broken site or loads of writing push it up; a simple one-branch shop pays less. Online stores and national B2B cost more. I'd rather quote after a free audit than guess.
Do you guarantee first-page rankings on Google?+
Nope. Be wary of anyone who does, honestly. Even Google says nobody can promise a number one spot. What I can promise is the work itself: the deliverables we agree on, done every month, and a report you're free to check against your own Search Console.
Can you do SEO for a website another company built?+
Happens all the time; most of our SEO clients come to us with somebody else's site. I'll audit it first. Sometimes it just needs fixing, and we fix it. Sometimes, honestly, patching costs more than rebuilding, and I'll tell you that with a real number attached, because we build sites ourselves and know what it costs.
How do I get my business into the Google map pack?+
Fix your Google Business Profile first, especially the primary category, which most people get wrong. Then you want real reviews trickling in every month and the same address and number on every listing out there. We sort the profile, teach your staff a quick review habit and clean up old listings. For most shops that's enough to start showing up nearby.
Do I need to pay separately for AEO or GEO?+
Not with us, no. It's part of every SEO retainer we run, since it rests on the same groundwork as normal SEO. If an agency sells it as an extra package, look closely; my guess is you'll find normal SEO with a new label.
Is there a minimum contract period?+
There isn't one; our SEO retainers run month to month. I do suggest giving it six months in your head, though, because SEO builds slowly and judging it at week six isn't fair to anyone.
Do you do SEO for Shopify and e-commerce stores?+
We do, and stores are a headache all their own. Size variants make duplicate URLs, filters spawn thousands of junk pages, and half the descriptions are copied from the manufacturer. Since we build Shopify and WooCommerce stores ourselves, the theme fixes stay in-house.
Can an India-based team rank my site in the UK or Australia?+
Sure. Google has no idea where the person doing the work sits, and doesn't care. It cares whether the page is written for that country, in its spelling and currency, with hreflang if you run several markets, and whether sites there mention you. We set those up and report on enquiries, same as we do here. Overseas plans are billed monthly in US dollars.
