We're Digital Web Mania, a web development company in Ahmedabad's Satellite area. WordPress, Shopify, React JS and Next.js, ASP.NET: we build on all of them, so we just pick whatever your site needs. Our SEO and ads people sit right next to the developers, which means what we launch is quick, works on a phone and is ready to rank.

Why we pick the platform before we pick the design
Want to know where most website money gets wasted? On the wrong platform. I've lost count of six-page consultancy sites built in custom React, where the owner now pays a developer every time the phone number changes. We build on all four, so as a web development company in Ahmedabad we've no favourite to push.
That's why our first chat with you won't be about colours. We'll ask who's updating the site, whether it sells, takes bookings or just makes the phone ring, and if it must talk to Tally or a CRM. Once we know, the platform more or less picks itself, and sometimes the answer is "WordPress will do" (we'll say so, even when custom would be a bigger invoice for us).
We've been at it since 2017, and our SEO and Google Ads lot sit a few desks from the developers. Trust me, they moan, loudly, the moment a page loads slowly. Your site's better for it.
WordPress development company in Ahmedabad for business websites
For most business sites, WordPress is the right answer, and I say that as someone whose team writes React and .NET every week. Your staff can change a page without ringing us. There's a plugin for almost anything, and hosting is cheap.
So what goes wrong? The build. Half the WordPress sites we audit are a heavy page builder with thirty-odd plugins, and on Jio 4G they crawl (six seconds, by which time your visitor's gone). We keep it lean: a light theme, only the plugins you'll use, and caching plus image compression from day one. We also do Gujarati versions with proper hreflang tags.
Shopify development company for Indian online stores
Selling products and don't fancy babysitting a server? Go Shopify. Hosting and checkout uptime become their problem, which you'll be glad of the night your Diwali sale goes live at 9 PM. Where stores really trip up is the Indian setup, so that's where most of our hours go.
Razorpay goes in for UPI, cards and netbanking. COD needs rules (pincode limits, a fee, an OTP or WhatsApp check), or fake orders and RTO eat you alive. We sort out GST invoices with your GSTIN and HSN codes, Shiprocket for shipping, and feeds to Meta and Merchant Center so ads run in week one.
We're stingy with paid apps, too, since fifteen of them can cost more than Shopify itself. Moving from WooCommerce? Redirects included, so your Google traffic comes along.
React JS development company in India for web apps
React is worth it when the front end is the product. Portals, dashboards, booking engines, dealer ordering screens. We put React on top of a clean API, and if the app also has public pages that need to rank, we'll use Next.js so those pages are rendered on the server where Google can read them.
Quick honesty check, though. If your project is really just content and a contact form, React's overkill, and you'll hear that from us in the first meeting.
ASP.NET development company in India, including legacy .NET takeovers
Got strict user roles, heavy reporting, or a system that leans on SQL Server and Azure? That's ASP.NET Core territory for us.
If I'm honest, a lot of our .NET work is rescue work. Usually it's an old ASP.NET Web Forms system whose developer moved on years ago. We start by getting it running on a separate copy and writing down what each module does. Then we patch the scary stuff (plain-text passwords, no backups) and move it to ASP.NET Core a module at a time. Rewrite the lot in one go? Tempting. It's also how a project ends up a year late, and yes, we learned that the expensive way.
WordPress vs Shopify vs custom React or .NET: which should you choose?
Ask yourself one thing first: who'll be updating this site, and how often? The table does the rest.
| WordPress | Shopify | Custom React or ASP.NET | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Business websites, service companies, blogs, small WooCommerce stores | Product stores and D2C brands of any size | Portals, dashboards, internal systems, SaaS, unusual workflows |
| Typical build cost | Rs 25,000 to 80,000 | Rs 40,000 to 1.5 lakh | From about Rs 1.5 lakh, quoted after scoping |
| Typical timeline | 3 to 5 weeks | 4 to 8 weeks | 8 to 16 weeks or more, released in phases |
| Who edits content | Your team, in the WordPress dashboard | Your team, in the Shopify admin | Your team, through an admin panel we build; layout changes need a developer |
| Running costs | Hosting plus a few plugin licences, usually modest | Monthly Shopify plan plus any paid apps and gateway fees | Cloud hosting sized to usage, plus developer support |
| Maintenance | Core, theme and plugin updates every month, plus security monitoring | Shopify handles hosting and security; you manage the theme and apps | Bug fixes, security patches and new features from a developer |
Still stuck? If you sell a service, my money's on WordPress, and if you sell boxes that get shipped, Shopify. That rule's rarely wrong.
How much does a web development company in Ahmedabad charge?
Short version? Around Rs 25,000 to 80,000 for WordPress, Rs 40,000 to 1.5 lakh for Shopify, and from about Rs 1.5 lakh if it's custom React or ASP.NET. Website development cost in Ahmedabad swings on a few things. How many pages. Who writes the words (that's the big one for delays, by the way). Whether it plugs into Razorpay, a CRM or Tally. And if you want Gujarati as well, the content roughly doubles.
We itemise every quote, so you can lay it next to that Rs 8,000 offer your cousin found and see what's missing.
What does every website we build include?
You won't find any of this on an add-on list. Phone first, always, and we test on whatever Androids and iPhones the team has in their pockets because a squeezed desktop browser lies. Speed targets go in writing (LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 ms, CLS under 0.1). Miss them and you can tell us off. Then there's the boring SEO stuff nobody thanks you for: clean URLs, meta tags, schema, an XML sitemap, Search Console. Google Analytics 4 tracks form fills, calls and WhatsApp clicks from day one (our ads team insists). You get SSL, a firewall, off-site backups we've test-restored once, and recorded training for your staff.
Oh, and the domain, hosting and every login sit in your company's name. Never ours.
Do you build websites for clients in Australia, the UK, the USA or the UAE?
We do, and for a lot of small firms abroad that's the appeal: the same build quality at a price that doesn't need a board meeting. Overseas websites come as fixed USD packages. Starter is $2,500 for up to 6 pages, live in 3 to 4 weeks. Professional is $5,500 for up to 15 pages, and Authority is $9,500 for up to 30. Selling products? The Launch store is $3,500 and the Growth store $7,500. It's all laid out on our pricing page.
The build is the same one our Indian clients get, with some local swaps. Stripe, PayPal or Shopify Payments instead of Razorpay, VAT or sales tax instead of GST, your market's spelling, and hosting near your customers (Sydney, London or the US East Coast) so the site's quick where it counts. Privacy differs too; a UK or EU site needs a proper cookie consent banner, which we set up along with the analytics.
Hours overlap more than you'd think. Our 10 AM to 7 PM IST day covers the Australian afternoon and the UK morning, and Dubai is 90 minutes behind us. For US clients we book an early or late call.
Do you need website maintenance after launch?
If it's WordPress, or anything with plugins, then yes, you do. Software nobody updates gets hacked eventually. Our monthly plans cover updates (tried on staging first), uptime checks, backups, security scans and small edits.
We also clean up hacked WordPress sites (Japanese spam pages, redirects to betting sites, the usual). Fixing it properly means removing the malware and hidden backdoors, closing the hole they came in through, changing every password and asking Google for a review. Trust me, that bill is bigger than a year of maintenance.
Can you redesign a website without losing Google rankings?
Sure, as long as the designer starts from what you've already got. I've seen too many redesigns begin on a blank Figma file. Old pages disappear, URLs get renamed, nobody bothers with redirects, and a month later traffic's halved.
We crawl your old site first, and look at Search Console. Any URL earning clicks or backlinks gets a 301 pointing at its new address. For a fortnight after launch somebody here checks for 404s each morning. A small wobble's normal. A 60 percent drop isn't, and when we've seen one it's almost always been skipped redirects.
How we build a website, step by step
- It kicks off with a discovery call, 30 to 45 minutes long. Hire us or not, you'll hang up knowing which platform suits you and roughly what it'll cost.
- A proposal follows, itemised line by line, with your page list and milestones.
- Then wireframes, and the words. Doing the copy yourself? We'll send a template, which beats an empty Word file at midnight.
- Then design, in Figma. We do your homepage plus one inner page first and you get two rounds of changes on them, after which the rest of the pages fly.
- We build on a staging link, so you can nose around on your phone any evening you like.
- We test speed, forms, devices, tracking and redirects. Boring, but it catches most problems.
- We go live on a weekday morning. Never a Friday evening (ask any developer).
- There's a support window after launch, and a maintenance plan after that if you'd like one.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a website cost in Ahmedabad?+
A decent WordPress business site? Somewhere in the Rs 25,000 to 80,000 bracket, and more pages or a fancier look nudge it upwards. Shopify stores? We usually end up between Rs 40,000 and 1.5 lakh. Custom React or ASP.NET apps start at about Rs 1.5 lakh, quoted after a scoping call. Do compare our itemised quote line by line.
How long does it take to build a website?+
Three to five weeks for most business sites, four to eight for an online store. Custom apps take longer and go out in phases. And what holds projects up most? Content, almost every time. Send text and photos early, or hand the writing to us, and the date usually holds.
Which is better for an online store in India, Shopify or WooCommerce?+
Shopify, if you want less to maintain and a quicker launch. WooCommerce if you'd rather have full control and skip the platform fee. Shopify looks after hosting and security for you. WooCommerce bends further, but somebody has to keep it updated, and in our experience that somebody gets forgotten.
Will my website work properly on mobile phones?+
It will, because the phone is where we start. Most Indian visitors turn up on a phone, often a mid-range Android on 4G, so that's what we test on (iPhones too). We sign up to mobile speed targets in writing. Slow site? Our fault, and we fix it.
Can I update the website myself after launch?+
On WordPress or Shopify, absolutely, that's half the reason to pick them. Your staff can swap text and photos, post blogs or add products with zero code, and we record the training. Custom builds get an admin panel, though layout changes there still need a developer.
Can you redesign my website without losing Google rankings?+
Yep, so long as nobody skips the dull job of mapping and redirecting every old URL. We crawl what you've got, pull your Search Console data and set a 301 redirect for each page that has traffic or backlinks. For two weeks after launch we're in Search Console daily, fixing 404s. Rankings usually hold, sometimes they climb.
Can you take over a website or application another developer built?+
All the time, honestly, usually WordPress sites or old ASP.NET apps whose developer has disappeared. We make a separate working copy, write down what's there and sort out anything urgent on security. Nothing touches the live system until you've seen and agreed the plan.
Who owns the website, the code and the domain?+
You do, every bit of it. Domain, hosting and admin logins are registered to your company. On custom builds the code lives in a repository you control, and full ownership is yours on final payment. Moving agencies one day? Take it all with you.
How much does a website cost for a business outside India?+
Our overseas packages start at $2,500 for a Starter site of up to 6 pages, then $5,500 for Professional and $9,500 for Authority. Online stores start at $3,500. Each one is a fixed price for a fixed scope, billed in US dollars, and the domain, hosting and code sit in your name. The full list is on our pricing page.
